Biography
Hi! I'm Soaf (short for Sophie), a Bristol, Bath & Somerset based make-up & hair artist, working not only in weddings and events, but also on film & TV and corporate productions.
This variety of work has allowed me to experience working with so many skin types and tones, under all different pressure situations, which have enabled me to maintain a very calm presence when applying make-up, whatever the work, whomever the client.

Alongside make-up application I also offer one-to-one make-up consultations, helping my clients choose the perfect skincare products to enhance their skin and make-up colours and textures to suit their tone, as well as application techniques to become more comfortable and confident when applying their own make-up.
​
I run prosthetic make-up workshops for groups of 5-50, either in schools or at local events - please get in touch for more information.

I also own a hair salon in Bath where our stylists create fantastic cuts & colours, as well as wedding hair stylings (2025 onwards)
When on film and TV jobs, I generally specialise in special effects and prosthetic make-up application, but I am trained and experienced in make-up, basic hair, basic barbering, afro hair and wigs & postiche.

I have been in the industry for over of ten years, have an FdA & BA Honors degree in media make-up and have also completed the following courses:
